Earthworm-eating gulls a hazard at Moncton airport: "Unusually balmy weather conditions in New Brunswick are creating a bizarre hazard at the Moncton airport — earthworms are crawling onto the runways and attracting thousands of seagulls, which could get sucked through jet engines.

Temperatures have been well over 10 C for more than a week throughout New Brunswick, with lots of rain and fog.

Environment Canada climatologist David Phillips says people in the Moncton area can expect to see the temperature reach 20 C on Friday, the highest point ever recorded for this time of the year."
